Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of sanboxart.com (the "Site") and the booking of tattoo services with SanboxArt (Christopher Jackson) ("SanboxArt," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or booking a session, you agree to these Terms.
1. Booking & Consultations
You can request or schedule a session through our booking tool. We will follow up to confirm design details, placement, sizing, and pricing. All appointments are subject to confirmation.
2. Deposits, Payments & Cancellations
- A $50 deposit is required at the time of booking to reserve your appointment and is applied toward the final cost of your tattoo.
- Deposits are non-refundable. If you reschedule with reasonable advance notice, your deposit may be transferred to a new date at our discretion.
- No-shows, late cancellations, or repeated rescheduling may forfeit the deposit.
- Final pricing is quoted before work begins and is due at the appointment.
3. Health, Consent & Suitability
Before tattooing, you will be asked to complete and sign a consent and release form and to disclose relevant health conditions (for example, allergies, skin conditions, pregnancy, or conditions affecting healing). We may decline or postpone service if we believe it is not safe or appropriate. You are responsible for providing accurate information.
4. Aftercare & Results
We provide aftercare guidance, but this is not medical advice. Healing and final appearance depend on skin type, aftercare, and other individual factors, and results vary. Touch-up policies, if any, will be explained to you. Consult a medical professional for any signs of infection or an adverse reaction.
5. Artwork & Intellectual Property
Custom designs created by SanboxArt remain the artist's original work. We may photograph completed tattoos and use those images for our portfolio, website, and social media unless you ask us not to. The Site's content, logo, and design are owned by SanboxArt and may not be copied without permission.
6. Acceptable Use of the Site
You agree not to misuse the Site, interfere with its operation, or attempt unauthorized access.
7. Third-Party Services & Links
The Site uses and links to third-party services (such as our booking provider and Instagram). We are not responsible for their content, policies, or availability.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SanboxArt will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. Any risks specific to the tattoo procedure are addressed in the consent form you sign before service.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute will be brought in the courts located in California.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time; changes take effect when posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
